Job Description:

Key Role Description

This role leads projects that support and enhance business systems and processes used by the P&O team, Trading- RightAngle ETRM, Financial Accounting and Yield Accounting. The role is responsible for leading change in business process procedures to maximize the effectiveness of business systems. The role will also lead or coordinate other plant IT projects as part of the Project Management Office.

Role Specific Competencies

Technical Knowledge - demonstrates the specific skills necessary for the assignments, understands the background and points of leverage to be effective in the role.

* Business Support - This role primarily supports the People & Organization, Accounting and Commercial software applications by advising personnel on the use of the applications and seeks ways to maximize value of the applications that enhances user capabilities and drives efficiencies. Familiarity with applications such as Paylocity, Kronos, RightAngle ETRM, RailTrac, data warehouses, project management software and SAP is required.
* Business Process Management - This role requires leading change in business process procedures to maximize the effectiveness of business systems and establish processes that support business growth.
* Project Management - A secondary role includes managing a variety of projects as the business needs change. This requires flexibility and adaptability.
* Compliance - This role is responsible for controlling system access, recording approved changes, and working with auditors to demonstrate SOX compliance.
* Reporting - This role is expected to actively report status updates in a timely manner, proactively monitor the health of business applications and notify interested personnel as needed, and assist leadership with report development as called upon.

Knowledge of Work Areas and Responsibilities - demonstrates a clear understanding of role and responsibilities within specific area, flexible and agile in adapting to changes or exploring opportunities and challenges.
* Remains current on evolving business processes and associated technology changes with the Monroe organization and with hardware and software configurations knowledge.
* Responds to other activities and initiatives deemed necessary by management.
* On-call availability for 24/7/365 support.

Communications - Verbal and Written - includes written and verbal communications, delivers presentations and has good listening skills.

Problem Solving and Conflict Leadership - strives to understand contributing factors, works to resolve complex situations, and helps individuals to resolve conflicts.

Experience and Skills

Education, Experience, and Skill Requirements

* Minimum of 10 years’ experience in a manufacturing organization within a P&O, business systems support or related business function.
* Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Business or equivalent work experience. Education or certification in IIBA and/or IT PMP desirable.
* Familiarity with SOX requirements.
* Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office applications. Advanced Excel skills are required.
* Demonstrated proficiency in all of Role Specific Competencies.
