Job Description:

Key Role Description

This role is responsible for supporting the Wholesale Marketing Managers on a wide variety of functions. These responsibilities will include daily pricing used for customer sales, database and inventory management forecast, daily sales filing and billing, and customer account maintenance (Customer allocations, loading support, customer issues). In addition, onboarding of new accounts (Spot/term contracts and new terminal set up), and ad-hoc reporting and projects.

  • Represents the wholesale front office of Monroe Energy to external counterparties
  • Troubleshoot and bring resolution to issues with external counterparties
  • Enter and maintain all forms of wholesale terms
  • Coordinate with the billing group to ensure accurate invoicing
  • Own the setup of new counterparties and terminals
  • Deliver quality accurate work within established deadlines
  • Create monthly presentations for management
  • Update inventory levels based on terminal reports
  • Destination scheduling and nomination responsibilities
  • Monitor Ethanol & Biodiesel inventories and communicate to Trader need for purchases
  • Oversee product allocations
  • Update/publish pricing into a pricing system to be sent to external counterparties
  • Maintain a positive attitude and display a willingness to improve current processes
  • Build and develop a commercial mindset

  • Provide team coverage as necessary

Experience and Skills

Education, Experience, and Skill Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in all of Role Specific Competencies.
